Cloudpharm is a bio-pharmaceutical R&D SME founded in 2016 and established in Greece. We specialize in designing digital platforms with a positive impact on healthcare and the green transition. We focus on drug discovery and repurposing, hit-to-lead optimization and pharmaceuticals// chemicals' ecotoxicology testing by integrating AI/ML into computational chemistry know-how. More specifically, our expertise encompasses, among other applications, virtual screening, molecular dynamics, and QSAR/QSTR modelling for the identification of safe bioactive compounds, the assessment and prioritization of biological targets based on their druggability, and the investigation of potential molecular interactions with key regulatory proteins and disease-associated biomarkers.

Expanding on the above, we also leverage our data engineering and multi-source data integration skills into developing biomedical platforms for natural product informatics.

Our business model: We are enthusiastically looking for opportunities to contribute our expertise in consortia for competitive R&D proposals, either as WP or task leaders. We also provide custom CRO activities and royalties on our existing digital products.

The company has participated in 3 successful European-level projects since it was founded in 2016 (FRUITPRINT, ENVIROMED, NEGHTRA) and 3 national-level R&D projects (CLOUDSCREEN, OSTEOME and NEXTGFS), as well as 1 COST Action network, OneHealthDrugs.

Briefly describing our most recent EU/NSRF projects:

ENVIROMED (EU HORIZON) : A just-finished project which built a next generation toolbox for greener pharmaceuticals design & manufacturing towards reduced environmental impact.
FRUITPRINT (MSCA) : An ongoing project concerning the discovery of novel compounds to modify the oxidative stress, cold stress and hypoxia response in post-harvest storage.

ANAPNEO (NSRF): A project, just-approved for funding, focusing on the discovery and development of new pharmaceuticals for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, using in silico approaches and preclinical experimentation.
