Partner for clinical AI evaluation, privacy-preserving data use and in-silico patient models
CEO & Co-founder at K01
Reykjavík, Iceland
About
K01 is a health AI company in Reykjavík, Iceland (EU/EEA). We are looking to join consortia for the 2027 Cluster 1 Health calls, leading or co-leading a work package or task on synthetic data, simulation, AI evaluation or privacy.
What we offer
-
In-silico patient models: generative models of patient trajectories (EHR, 12-lead ECG, imaging, physiological and wearable signals), including counterfactuals under different treatments, for virtual cohorts and what-if analysis of care pathways.
-
Evaluation of clinical AI: performance, robustness, bias and trustworthiness testing in line with the EU AI Act, and simulated clinical environments for testing decision support and AI agents.
-
Privacy-preserving data use: synthetic cohorts trained under differential privacy, models trained inside a partner’s own environment so patient data never leaves, and attack-based privacy testing of data releases for GDPR anonymisation assessments and EHDS secondary use.
What we are looking for
Coordinators and clinical partners with real-world data (hospitals, registries, biobanks) building proposals for:
-
TOOL-04: Virtual Human Twins for integrated clinical decision support
-
TOOL-01: AI predictive biomarkers for chronic non-communicable diseases
-
CARE-02: Reducing adverse drug reactions from multiple medications
-
TOOL-08: Next generation of frontier AI models for healthcare
Track record: peer-reviewed workshop papers at ICLR, ICML and NeurIPS 2026 on differential privacy, ECG generation, synthetic data and AI agents; Rannís research grants; a EuroHPC compute allocation on LUMI. More at k01.is/research.
Topic
