About
Lung Cancer Europe (LCE) is the voice of people living with lung cancer and their families at European level. We bring together lung cancer patient advocacy organisations from across Europe and support the creation of national organisations in countries where none yet exist.
We are looking to join consortia preparing proposals under the 2027 Cluster 1 Health calls where meaningful patient involvement is essential, particularly in cancer research, personalised medicine, digital health and AI, survivorship and quality of life, and access to care.
What we offer
-
Patient and caregiver perspective throughout the project, from proposal design to final results
-
Co-design of research questions, study materials, digital tools and patient-facing outputs
-
Organisation of patient advisory boards, focus groups and surveys across our European network
-
Ethical, inclusive and plain-language communication, including review of informed-consent and lay materials
-
Dissemination, communication and exploitation activities reaching patients, families, clinicians and policymakers across Europe
-
Policy and advocacy work to support uptake of results at EU and national levels
