About

I run BYOM, a small Norwegian company I started in 2019 as a coach and business consultant. For the past year I have been working on a digital platform that helps counseling professionals manage their practice — think session notes, client records, training logs, all encrypted.

The platform targets regulated counseling professions across all countries. I am finishing up my education as a Lebens- und Sozialberaterin (LSB) in Vienna myself, which is a regulated counseling profession under the Austrian Chamber of Commerce requiring 5 semesters of supervised training. So I am building what I need as a practitioner.

Before this I founded Women in Games Norway and spent several years in the Norwegian games industry as COO and project manager, where I took special interest in gamification projects. I am founder and co-founder of a number of projects.

I was on the founding board of Covidforeningen, Norway's patient association for people affected by long-term effects of COVID-19, and I still serve as a likeperson there — a trained peer counselor who supports others based on lived experience with the condition. I know the post-infection space from the inside, both as someone affected and as someone building tools for the professionals who work with us, and as someone who worked with patients with ME/CFS over the previous decade.

I have previous experience with EEA Grants projects from my time in the games industry, as a partner.

I am looking to join a consortium as an SME partner, bringing digital infrastructure for counseling documentation and psychosocial support. Especially interested in post-infection care, youth mental health, and chronic disease management beyond the traditional healthcare system.

Based in Askim, Norway. Currently converting to AS (limited company). Available on short notice.
