VASCagea

VASCage is Austria’s leading Center for Clinical Stroke Research, uniting three key research areas: Prevention & Mechanisms, Diagnosis & Therapy, and Recovery & Rehabilitation. Our interdisciplinary teams combine excellence from paediatric and adult medical experts, therapists, and (neuro)psychologists with advanced competencies from data scientists and clinical trial specialists. With our own research ambulatory facility and our key partner, the Medical University of Innsbruck, we have access to both healthy research participants and patients. VASCage leads a nationwide research network of vascular neurology departments across Austria (the ACT Stroke Network). In addition, VASCage hosts a comprehensive biobank containing data and biosamples from healthy adolescents, healthy adults, and stroke patients. The VASCage consortium includes close cooperation with leading centres in multi-omics research.healthcare and share insights that drive positive change in our industry.
