eHealthTech is a micro-enterprise in the Healthcare IT area, started up in 2004 within the Florence Technological Incubator. eHealthTech carries out research and development for the consulting, design and implementation of innovative technology solutions for the exchange, sharing and integration of clinical and administrative information among health information systems, based on the Health Level Seven International (HL7) standards for interoperability of health information technology, and the interoperability framework Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).

Collaboration Since 2006 eHealthTech is member of HL7 Italia, the Italian affiliate organization of HL7 International, and participates in the Work Groups to localize the standards according to the national or regional requirements, such as the V3 Domain Patient Administration domain – Person and Patient Topic, the Implementation Guide for CDA Rel.2 – e-Prescription and Patient Summary, the Object Identifier (OID) Registry, the White paper - Social welfare and health services, the EHR-System Functional Model, Release 2.0, the HL7 Italia FHIR Implementation Guide Dossier Pharma, Laboratoty Report. It also participates in some HL7 International Conference, Working Group Meetings, and E-learning course, and International HL7 FHIR Developer Days 2014-2023.
