TENENET

We are NGO, who:

• works in the field of employment services and has excellent results in them (awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of the Slovak Republic - A family-friendly employer, or the global Ashoka Foundation - a social innovator and implementer of changes in the employment of people with disabilities, EASPD - **TOP3 EU**employer of people with disabilities) and we implemented many projects for education in the establishment of sheltered workshops or the start-up of social entrepreneurship with people with disabilities disability,

• has established relationships with many **key market players**from the business sector (Accenture, Slovak Telecom, ČSOB, ERSTE Slovenská Sporiteľňa, KONE, GSK, etc.) and with their help we have already employed and continue to develop the employment of young people with disabilities in Slovakia,

• is a full member of SÚPZ - Slovak Union of Supported Employment and SocioFórum (in both of which she is a statutory representative and member of the committee), ASSP - Association of Supervisors and Social Counsellors, the employees of our organization are members of the Slovak Chamber of Social Workers, the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists and the Slovak Psychotherapy Society,

• is a full member of the EASPD (European Association of Service Providers for People with Disabilities), namely the Standing Committee for Inclusion (de-institutionalization and social housing), where we deal with the main topics and problems of individual countries and the entire EU directly based on the UN Convention on Human Rights rights for people with disabilities and at least twice a year we meet in various EU countries at professional conferences and working meetings on de-institutionalisation and we prepare direct assignments from t_he European Commission, the Council of the EU,_

• we participate in professional conferences dealing with civil society, especially the contribution of the non-profit sector to the solution of EU social problems, which are organised around Europe by **the European Economic and Social Committee**as the main advisory body of the EU (expert advice to the European Commission, the Council of the EU and the EU Parliament through opinions on the proposed EU legislation and own-initiative opinions on issues that need to be addressed, creates a bridge between the EU institutions and organised civil society) - they involve us in a structured dialogue

• we participate in conferences and workshops focused on the issue of social and work _inclusion of people with disabilities_organized in the EU by ENIL - European Network on Independent Living, EDF - European Disability Forum, ESS - European Social Services, etc.

• thanks to the fact that our statutory representative is also acting as an external teacher at FSEV UK and our organization is actively cooperating with several departments of s_ocial studies_ in Slovakia, we also have experience with academic research, either at the national level (VEGA grants) or at the trans national level (DRPI - Disability Rights Promotion International - research centre for monitoring the fullfilment of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, methodology developed directly by the UN Commission and Y_ork University, Toronto._
