About

The Association of Pharmacists of the Nišava–Pirot Region (FNP) is a professional organisation bringing together pharmacists from all areas of pharmaceutical practice who live and/or work in Southeastern Serbia. Founded in 1978, FNP has organised more than 100 continuing education programs for healthcare professionals, as well as numerous public outreach events for the general population.

The primary goal of the Association is to promote lifelong learning and professional development through cooperation, education, and mutual exchange of knowledge. The modern pharmacist upholds high professional standards and ethical principles, actively follows advances in pharmaceutical, medical, and related sciences, and strives to apply them in daily practice. Through continuous professional development and equal collaboration with other healthcare professionals and the wider community, pharmacists strengthen their professional identity and personal credibility and contribute to preserving the tradition and social value of the pharmaceutical profession.

FNP is currently the coordinator of the Erasmus+ project SAVE THE EARTH—DISPOSE PHARMACEUTICAL WASTE SMARTLY (PHARMWASTE) [2025-1-RS01-KA210-ADU-000363956].
