Aviro combines human centered design, science/data, and digital expertise to build engaging solutions that assist patients and providers to access and manage care.

Built in Africa, Aviro’s digital infrastructure for clinical research supports low-cost but regulatory-grade data capture, trial management, and regulatory submissions in line with global standards. To ensure usability in our context, we combine this with  human-centred design and digital tools (multi-language; offline-capable; accessible anywhere) that support patients and providers through protocols. By enabling better recruitment, adherence, counseling, decision support, and data collection/management, we support researchers to drive more learnings and impactful innovations out of limited budgets.

Pocket Clinic has been used in 7 African countries to support over 100,000 patients across 16 studies, and is easily customisable and scalable to support new protocols across the continuum of care in any health or social domain.
