About

BDT Health Planning is a Public Health consulting and research company based in Portugal, founded by Public Health medical doctors. We support the health planning and health systems analysis, and the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-informed health interventions and policies, aligned with European and international quality frameworks.

Working at the interface between data, policy, and practice, our multidisciplinary team applies mixed-methods approaches to assess population needs, identify gaps, and translate evidence into actionable recommendations and high-quality technical outputs for decision-makers at local, national, and European levels.

What we offer as a partner

We strengthen Horizon Europe and other EU-funded health projects by contributing to:

  • Development of dissemination plans and knowledge translation activities tailored to diverse audiences;

  • Implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies, including co-creation workshops and capacity-building activities;

  • Health needs assessments and gap analyses

  • Design, monitoring, and evaluation of public health interventions

  • Health systems and services evaluation

  • Policy analysis and evidence-to-practice translation

  • Participatory and community-centred methodologies

  • Technical reporting, policy briefs, and core project deliverables.

We have extensive experience working in multinational and multidisciplinary consortia enabling us to have a transversal role that bridges research, policy, and implementation.

We can contribute as a project partner or take on Work Package Leader and/or Task Leader responsibilities, particularly in Communication, Dissemination, and Stakeholder Engagement work packages.
