stand.fit is a start-up focused on reducing the negative health effects of prolonged sitting and sedentary behaviour.

The core product, Standfit, is a patented wellbeing solution that allows people to rest in a vertically lying, gently dynamic position. The office version of the product can be considered an MVP: it has been validated by the market and supported by medical studies.

Based on feedback from users, we are now developing a new version of Standfit for airports and other public spaces. Long waiting times and limited ergonomic options in such environments often lead to physical discomfort and increased stress. The airport version is planned as a vending-based solution and involves new technical, operational, and deployment challenges compared to the existing office product.

A pilot test with Riga International Airport has already been agreed. For the development and scaling of this airport-oriented version, a new company will be established in Latvia.

We are interested in collaboration within Horizon Europe Cluster Health, particularly in projects related to prevention of non-communicable diseases, behavioural interventions, and wellbeing solutions in settings beyond the healthcare system.
