T-cell therapies have already proven that they can cure some forms of cancer in the clinic but bottlenecks in the discovery and manufacturing processes have hindered the expansion of cell therapies to treat other cancers because the therapies aren’t always effective and are expensive to produce.
Our consumable bioreactor, the Column of Expansion and Differentiation or CoED for short, revolutionises the way we separate T-cells from patient biopsies.
We make T-cell separation and expansion a simple process that is cost effective, clean and with minimal hands-on time.
We are particularly focused on the separation, activation, genetic modification and functionalisation of T-cells for use in the research and development of cell therapies.
As well as creating a new way of separating cells we can also imprint and select T-cells that have a specific tissue homing phenotype which can improve the potency of the cell therapy product whilst also reducing its toxicity.
