About
Gratiago is a European digital health start-up focused on improving treatment adherence, persistence and patient engagement in chronic diseases, where non-adherence remains one of the main drivers of poor outcomes and inefficiencies in healthcare systems.
Gratiago develops patient-centred digital interventions combining behavioural science, motivational mechanisms and AI-driven personalisation. The platform supports patients in their daily treatment routines through adaptive reminders, encouragements and contextualised interactions, tailored to individual profiles, disease characteristics and treatment stages. The objective is to sustain long-term engagement, improve adherence and ultimately enhance treatment effectiveness.
The solution is currently undergoing clinical validation in collaboration with hospital partners and is designed to generate real-world evidence on patient engagement, adherence patterns and behavioural responses over time. Gratiago’s technology is conceived as a modular and interoperable component that can be integrated into existing care pathways, digital therapeutics ecosystems or pharmaceutical “beyond the pill” strategies.
Within Horizon Europe projects, Gratiago aims to contribute as an SME partner bringing:
-
a validated digital intervention targeting patient behaviour and adherence,
-
expertise in the design and deployment of patient-centred digital solutions,
-
capabilities to collect and analyse behavioural and engagement-related real-world data,
-
experience in clinical pilots, regulatory-aware development and stakeholder co-creation.
Gratiago is particularly interested in participating in consortia addressing chronic non-communicable diseases, innovative healthcare interventions, patient-centred technologies, digital health solutions, and the generation of clinical and real-world evidence supporting personalised and sustainable healthcare models.
