We help universities, hospitals, SMEs, public authorities and NGOs to design, implement and scale responsible AI and data-driven solutions that improve health and wellbeing.

Our core expertise includes:

• AI in health edu and academia: co-design and piloting of AI tools for research management, clinical and public-health workflows, decision support, portfolio analysis and evidence synthesis.

• Behavioural and implementation research: designing and evaluating digital and AI-enabled interventions, with a focus on young people, mental health, NCD prevention and health literacy.

• Climate, environment & health: data-driven analysis and visualisation, scenario building and support to climate-resilient health and care systems.

• Science communication, citizen & patient engagement: co-creation workshops, living labs, participatory methods, trust-building around life sciences and digital health, including work with vulnerable and underserved groups.

• Research management & innovation ecosystems: support to proposal design, impact pathways, exploitation, portfolio management, skills development and innovation governance.

In Horizon Europe health projects we typically contribute by:

• Leading WP on communication, dissemination, exploitation and stakeholder engagement;

• Co-leading WP on AI/digital tools, implementation research, policy uptake or training;

• Designing methods for participatory design, ethics & responsible AI, including guidelines and toolkits for practitioners;

• Supporting FAIR data practices, impact assessment and evidence synthesis to inform EU and national policies.

GIRI is looking to join consortia as a research, implementation and impact partner across topics such as: digital health and AI (including EHDS-related work), mental health and digital technologies, behavioural interventions for NCDs, climate & health, health-promoting environments, health systems transformation and public trust in life sciences.
