Science & Technology Hub epiSTEMe

epiSTEMe is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in Montenegro with the mission to advance and popularize science, innovation, and technology. epiSTEMe Hub was founded by scientists and innovators with international expertise, bringing together backgrounds in Food Science (PhD in Food Systems) and Electrical Engineering (PhD in Artificial Intelligence, applied primarily in medicine and in the food sector), with the shared vision of fostering innovation in their home country. epiSTEMe Hub activities are designed to strengthen research capacities, promote knowledge transfer, and enhance innovation culture across the regional and international collaborations. The main vision is to make scientific knowledge accessible and applicable, and ensure that research outcomes translate into real-world benefits, strengthening innovation capacity and contributing to sustainable development in line with European values and standards. epiSTEMe Hub develops and implements multidisciplinary projects that address real challenges focusing food, health, sustainability, and digital transformation. Some of our projects include FoodInno 4.0; smartHealth; proCult - Innovation culture through probiotic science; Smart Village Academy: YOUSEED 3D pioneers: Youth 4 smart Cetinje. Through these projects, except the research and education, epiSTEMe Hub creates various science-based solutions involving the society (mainly young people).
