M2D1 Biossegurança

M2D1 is a Brazilian deep-tech company focused on developing advanced technologies for infection control and the management of chronic wounds. Our work integrates biomedical engineering, microbiology and regulatory science to create innovative medical devices designed to address clinical challenges associated with biofilms, recurrent infections and delayed healing.

Our main health project, BST22, is currently in preclinical validation and combines safe optical approaches with embedded intelligence to support healthcare professionals in treating complex wounds. The technology aims to reduce microbial burden, improve infection control and enhance the effectiveness of care protocols, especially for high-risk populations such as people with diabetes, older adults and patients with limited mobility.

M2D1 is recognised for its strong scientific foundation, active participation in innovation ecosystems and ability to translate applied research into high-impact technological solutions. We are seeking international partners for co-development, clinical validation, regulatory studies and future adoption pathways within healthcare systems.
