SYNBORA AG (CHE-344.477.113) is a recently founded, Bern-based, MedTech startup company and member of the Sitem Start-Up Club. The company is developing a Class IIa wearable medical device paired with AI enabled companion apps to drive improvements in cardiovascular diseases (CVD) aftercare. Currently, CVD patients experience avoidable relapse, re-hospitalization and death, and Synbora aims to deploy its patent pending technology to improve CVD patient outcomes and associated financial costs. More specifically, the Synbora system consists of an armband medical device, cloud-based AI engine, a patient app (Digital Nurse) and clinician app (Clinician Agent) to deliver smart and personalized guidance, critical alerts, patient trends, and remote therapy adjustments directly to patients and clinicians. Through commercially deploying its system, the company intends to deliver improvements in outpatient care, digitalization, and networked and coordinated care in Switzerland and beyond.
