Senjoro

The National Institute of Social Integration (NISI) is a well-established Lithuanian non-governmental organisation dedicated to social innovation, community-based support, and the development of high-quality services for vulnerable groups. Within NISI, the Senjoro organisation, one of the most advanced non-state home-based care programmes in Lithuania.

Senjoro delivers person-centred home care and daily living support to older people and individuals with disabilities. Our service network is currently the strongest among NGOs in this sector: we operate in 43% of Lithuania’s municipalities, with 550 individual care workers supporting approximately 2,500 elderly clients. This extensive reach gives us deep experience in service delivery models, workforce development, quality assurance, and local social policy implementation.

Our home-based care model is built on two core pillars:

1. Active cooperation with municipalities, based on long-term service contracts that ensure sustainable, high-quality and accessible care.

2. A strong focus on digitalisation and innovation, aiming to improve efficiency, transparency, and the overall quality of home care services.

To support this, NISI developed SenjoroGo, a specialised digital platform (app + web version) designed to strengthen all stages of home care operations:

• Management: Streamlined client profiles, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

• Service Planning: Dynamic, need-based planning with real-time adjustments.

• Service Provision Optimisation: Tools to maximise time-on-task and improve care worker performance.

• Monitoring, Quality & Feedback: Real-time oversight, quality metrics, and structured beneficiary feedback mechanisms.

We are also developing advanced features such as a social taxi module, AI-enabled case management, and remote alert and risk management devices, supporting integrated, age-friendly, and technology-assisted care.
