About

CAZAS is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1998, rooted in volunteerism and civic activism. Its work unfolds through four core programs: Health, Youth, Psychosocial Support for Vulnerable Groups, and Capacity Building.

The organization’s vision is a society where quality healthcare is accessible to everyone, where vulnerable communities are protected and have full access to their rights and services, and where empowered, open-minded young people drive social progress.

Its mission is to support, inform, educate, engage, and strengthen individuals, organizations, and institutions across Montenegro.

CAZAS focuses on improving public health systems, promoting prevention and health literacy, empowering young people through education and advocacy, providing psychosocial support to vulnerable groups and their families, and building the capacities of civil society through training, consultation, and strategic development.

While CAZAS serves the entire Montenegrin population, its priority groups are youth aged 13–30 and vulnerable communities. The organization currently gathers more than 50 active members, collaborators, and experts.
