Klaipeda University

Health Research and Innovation Science Center is Unit of Faculty of Health Sciences in Klaipėda University, which was established by the implementation of the University's strategy to strengthen the interdisciplinary health research. The Center conducts research of high national and international quality and experimental (social) development work, integrates the scientific and study process, and provides conditions for raising the qualifications of academic staff and other specialists.

The aim of the center's activities is to conduct of high national and international quality research and experimental development work in the main directions: public health, health education, health and wellness, organization and management of primary health care, social work in health care, improving the quality of care, medical and social rehabilitation and prevention, recreation and tourism development, safe food, healthy nutrition, environmental impact on health, biotechnology, medical engineering, complementary and alternative medicine, balneology and others.
