About

Value for Health CoLAB (VOH) is a collaborative, non-profit research center dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovative, value-based healthcare (VBHC) solutions.

We co-create health interventions by bringing together all stakeholders (patients, professionals, industry, and policymakers) and facilitate design sessions to develop effective solutions that address real user needs. Our process starts with our psychologists and software developers, who identify and analyze user requirements, translating these into clear technical specifications.

With these requirements, our software developers and engineers (working independently or in partnership with other partners) design and develop predictive algorithms and clinical decision-support tools based on artificial intelligence, large language models, and deep learning technologies. Having collaborated with hundreds of clinical practitioners, we can ensure our innovations are aligned with real-world healthcare needs and deliver meaningful benefits across the ecosystem.

Guided by the principles of Value-Based Health Care (VBHC), our team of economists rigorously assesses health interventions for their economic, social, and individual impact. Through comprehensive evaluations, we provide evidence-based recommendations and guidelines to inform healthcare policy and drive the adoption and implementation of new digital health technologies.
