Préclinically confirmed slow release capsules for cancer
CNRS senior scientist #Slow release capsules for cancer at Medicaps CNRS

About
Local chemotherapy represents a growing trend to maximize local tumor control with minimal systemic toxicity but requires a new drug delivery system for treatment efficiency and ease of administration. Microcapsules are tailored drug delivery vehicles capable of transporting pure doses of chemotherapeutic agents into cancerous tumors while sparing healthy cells at distance from the tumors. Microcapsules have shown great promise in changing the face of oncology, as they have a tumor-specific targeting and sustained drug delivery capability that overcomes the limitations of traditional chemotherapy.
=> Our capsules can be used as “shuttles” to deliver specific molecules on site.
