A Strong HEU Partner for CL1: Health Excellence Powered by Interdisciplinary Innovation
Pre-proposal HEU support in the health domain at Ghent University
Gent, Belgium
About
UGent is keen to participate in Horizon Europe Cluster 1 (Health) proposals and is actively seeking collaboration opportunities. We have a strong and proven track record in Horizon Europe, with particular strength across health (HLTH) topics.
UGent hosts an academic hospital and actively participates in national and international multi-centred clinical trials, enabling robust contributions to clinical research, validation, and real-world implementation.
As a comprehensive university, UGent also brings excellence in associated domains highly relevant to CL1 work programmes, including AI and data science, modelling and simulation, digital health, biomedical engineering, social sciences, ethics, and policy research. This interdisciplinary capacity enables us to contribute across multiple WPs, from fundamental research to applied and impact-driven activities.
We welcome expressions of interest and partnership offers, which will be forwarded to the relevant domain experts across the university to build competitive and well-balanced consortia.
