Robotics and digital health solutions to reduce low-value care and optimise care pathways
R&I Project Coordinator at Fundacio Eurecat
Barcelona, Spain
About
The proposed contribution focuses on improving efficiency, safety, and patient-centredness in care delivery through digitalisation and automation.
-
We can provide an embodied “care-pathway observatory” that standardises and documents routine care tasks, ensuring alignment with clinical guidelines and hospital procedures. Robotic systems will learn site-specific practices directly from clinicians and operate under deterministic safety and cybersecurity constraints, producing explainable process logs for continuous improvement (Robotics)
-
Our Digital Health experts will complement this with a digital tool for optimisation of drug prescription practices, analysing prescribing patterns to identify deviations, inefficiencies, or systematic errors and supporting corrective strategies. The combined approach supports evidence-based de-implementation, resource reallocation, and measurable gains in quality of care.
