About
WHO WE ARE:
CyberZen.Games is a Deep-tech SME specializing in Cognitive AI and adaptive digital environments. We build the technological bridge between human cognitive states and digital content. We have experience of application of our technologies by pilot prejocts for school children of Valencia, Spain.
Track Record:
-
Successful TRL 3 pilots with school students (Valencia).
-
Winners of the Innovation Award (Valencia Municipality) for the pilot "Digital gamified technologies for teaching emotional self-regulation for children and young adults."
-
Recipient of R&D grants from the Valencia Municipality.
2. OUR TECHNOLOGY: SatoriCore™
Our team develops the SatoriCore middleware layer, which detects user signals and reactions to manage the "Human-Digital" loop processes.
-
Multimodal Data Fusion: The engine aggregates behavioral metrics (reaction times, interaction patterns) and data from biosensors (EEG, HRV, wearables) via a unified API (Application Programming Interface) in real-time.
-
Predictive Cognitive Modeling: AI builds a dynamic digital model of the user (productive range, stress resistance, fatigue levels, risk of addictive patterns).
-
Closed-Loop Prevention: The system automatically signals the host application to adjust parameters (difficulty, pace, stimuli) to keep the user in a "safe zone," fostering digital resilience, or modifies them automatically.
-
Longitudinal Analysis: Tracking cross-session dynamics to identify long-term trends of the digital environment's impact on the human cognitive system. This allows for assessing neuroplasticity progress and adjusting prevention strategies.
-
Current Status: TRL 4 (Validated on synthetic data, including data from pilots with adolescents in schools of Spain; preparing for pilots on real cohorts)
Relevance to the call: HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-DISEASE-02 Innovative interventions to prevent the harmful effects of using digital technologies on the mental health of children and young adults
Our solution directly addresses the call’s core objective — preventing harm from digital technologies, especially among children and adolescents.
-
Prevent harmful effects:
Our engine detects early warning signs (e.g., anxiety, stress overload, emerging addictive loops) and triggers immediate preventive mechanisms inside the software (adaptive difficulty, pacing, breaks, regulation prompts, safer interaction modes). -
Understanding the impact / building the evidence base:
We generate robust, objective evidence by combining neurophysiological signals (e.g., HRV) with behavioural data. This supports the development of the required evidence base and enables continuous monitoring of outcomes. -
Innovative digital interventions:
We enable adaptive, personalized interventions that adjust protection strategies to the user’s state and context, moving beyond “one-size-fits-all” approaches. -
Focus on vulnerable groups (children and adolescents):
We have hands-on experience applying our technologies with children and young adults, including school pilots in Spain (ages 14–16).WHAT WE SEEK
We are looking to join a consortium led by a Research Institute, University, or Front-end Application Developer that will provide the content and scientific framework:
-
Scientific Framework: Partners who will define what needs to be measured and which prevention strategies (e.g., behavioral redirection) our engine must activate.
-
Host Applications: Partners (or 3rd parties) providing the software itself (games, educational platforms, social networks) into which SatoriCore will be integrated.
-
Clinical Management: Partners responsible for ethical approvals, participant recruitment, and validating our data against medical ground truth standards.
-
VALUE PROPOSITION
We position ourselves as a Technology Enabler. We offer the consortium our proprietary SatoriCore development as the project's universal technological core, suitable for both research and intervention tool creation:
-
For Researchers: SatoriCore serves as an objective "measurement tool" to deeply study the correlations between digital usage and cognitive states (Scope requirement).
-
For Industry (Compliance Tool): SatoriCore can serve as a certification tool for the EdTech and GameDev markets:
-
Safety Audit: Automatic detection of harmful patterns (addictive mechanics, stress spikes) in third-party applications.
-
Standardization: An API (Application Programming Interface) to align digital content with EU ethical norms and "Do No Significant Harm" mental health safety standards.
-
-
For Developers: We provide an SDK
