Project Cooperation - Microbiome research

Project Manager at InnovITech Kft.

Budapest, Hungary

About

We are building a multidisciplinary consortium and are currently looking for partners to join a collaborative microbiome research project focused on delivering reproducible, clinically relevant insights into the role of the human microbiome in health and disease. The project will integrate high-quality clinical cohorts and harmonised sample workflows with state-of-the-art microbiome and host multi‑omics, supported by robust bioinformatics to identify and validate biomarkers, mechanistic pathways, and intervention targets.

We welcome cooperation with complementary organisations, including clinical sites (patient recruitment, phenotyping, biobanking), academic microbiome laboratories (wet-lab profiling, functional interpretation), data/bioinformatics teams (pipelines, integration, statistical validation), and industry/SME partners (translation, implementation, and exploitation). The intended collaboration model reflects common EU microbiome project structures using coordinated work packages for cohort harmonisation, omics generation, integrated analysis, validation, ethics/data governance, dissemination, and project management, enabling efficient cross-site execution and comparable results.
