Human-Centred Digital Solutions for Resilience & Accessible Healthcare

Assistant Professor at University of Southern Denmark (SDU) - Metaverse Lab

Odense, Denmark

About

The SDU Metaverse Lab at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) supports Horizon Health projects addressing preparedness, resilience, and access to healthcare through human-centred digital solutions.

We have expertise in modelling risk perception, engagement, and behavioural responses in complex societal contexts, and in the human-centred evaluation of AI-enabled and digital health systems. Our work focuses on usability, accessibility, engagement, and behavioural adaptation in real-world settings.

We contribute to consortia through:

  • Behavioural modelling of preparedness, engagement, and adaptation

  • Interactive training and awareness tools, including game-based scenarios

  • Participatory approaches for system design and validation

  • Evaluation of accessibility, usability, and engagement in digital healthcare solutions

We seek to join larger consortia as a partner, contributing to evaluation, design, and validation work packages.
