2CA-Braga operates from a dedicated inpatient wing, designed to accommodate a variety of clinical research projects, ranging from pilot studies to large-scale Phase I-IV clinical trials. The facility offers a spacious, quiet, and fully equipped environment, ideal for conducting patient assessments, providing medical care, administering neuropsychological and diagnostic tests, and completing questionnaires. This integrated setup enhances patient comfort by consolidating all procedures in one location, ensuring they experience clinical trials as a seamless extension of their healthcare. The centre’s team comprises highly specialized professionals, including experts in clinical trial management, nursing, research and development, financial management, and contract research organization (CRO) services. The facility is equipped with its own MRI, TILT, and Sleep Laboratory and has easy access to ULS-Braga’s support services, ensuring a comprehensive infrastructure supporting excellence in clinical research.
