Organs-on-Chip and Microphysiological Systems
Funding Manager Health at imec
Leuven, Belgium
About
Technology blocks like microfluidics, high-density electrodes, biosensors, lens-free imaging and data analytics allow for highly detailed single-cell prediction of human responses. Currently imec is developing MPS systems for the blood-brain-barrier, brain, heart, gut and lung.
Imec is actively looking for partners to further finetune their organ-on-chip models towards specific applications. Please see below, the activities imec could cover for the selected Health 2026 call topics.
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-TOOL-03: We can contribute by developing innovative MPS models.
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-TOOL-06 - We can support this CSA by offering our expertise on end-user needs and requirements to facilitate the industrial adoption of MPS.
-
HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-DISEASE-11 - We can contribute by developing MPS models of CVD to study sex differences.
