About
We are actively seeking to join European research consortia and initiatives, with the aim of contributing to the health priorities and strategic goals set forth by the European Union. FINBA brings extensive expertise in biomedical research and cancer, and we seek to collaborate on Horizon Europe Mission Cancer calls (HORIZON-MISS-2025-02-CANCER, HORIZON-MISS-2025-03-CANCER, HORIZON-MISS-2025-04-CANCER, and HORIZON-MISS-2025-05-CANCER) to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.
Our Expertise:
-
Multi-Omics Meta-analysis: Integrating genomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and microbiome data to identify key biomarkers and therapeutic targets in cancer and aging.
-
New Therapeutic Targets: Discovering molecular markers for diagnosis, prognosis, and pharmacodiagnostics, enabling personalized treatment strategies, particularly for solid tumors in adults.
-
Reduced Toxicity Treatments: Developing more effective and less toxic pharmacological treatments for adult solid tumors, with a focus on minimizing side effects for older patients.
-
Tumor Progression and Microenvironment: Characterizing molecular pathways, including cancer stem cells, redox control, and the tumor microenvironment, to design novel therapies.
-
Cellular and Animal Models: Creating models to study aging and cancer interactions, advancing treatment testing for aging populations.
-
Nanotechnology: Exploring nanocomposites for cancer diagnosis and drug delivery, enhancing precision and minimizing toxicity in clinical settings.
We aim to partner with a consortia focused on personalized cancer therapies, innovative diagnostics, and improving cancer care.
