Cooperation under the HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-ENVHLTH-01 topic
Co-Founder of KNEIA at KNEIA
Barcelona, Spain
About
KNEIA is seeking a project coordinator and partners to participate in the CLIMHEART project to improve the understanding, anticipation, and prevention of climate-related cardiovascular disease (CVD) risks, specifically focusing on heart attacks, arrhythmias, and strokes, by integrating mechanistic research, high-resolution longitudinal data, predictive modelling, and evidence-based intervention strategies. The outcomes of the project will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of how climate change affects cardiovascular health, the development of predictive models and early-warning systems for climate-related CVD events, the design and implementation of targeted prevention and resilience strategies for vulnerable populations, and the integration of actionable data and knowledge into European climate-health infrastructures to inform policy, public health planning, and clinical decision-making.
