pool4ward is a collaborative logistics platform. It helps shippers, carriers and logistics providers design and run inter-company initiatives: flow pooling, shared transport, multimodal optimization, fewer empty runs.

Most freight optimization stops at the boundary of each company. Trucks run half empty on the same lanes, return legs go unused, and rail or river options stay out of reach for shippers whose volumes are too small on their own. pool4ward works across those boundaries. The platform identifies compatible flows between organisations, models the gains (cost, CO2, service level) and supports partners in setting up and operating the collaboration.

pool4ward is a French SAS founded by four partners and incubated at CERMICS, the applied mathematics and optimization lab of École des Ponts. It combines optimization research with field experience in transport operations, 4PL and freight decarbonation.
