Research Associate at Textile Plastic Composites and Hybrid Compounds, TU Chemnitz

The Research Group combine the fields of textile technology, , mechanical engineering and material development.

The focus of the research activities is the linking of the value chains for the production of textile-reinforced plastic composites and hybrid compounds suitable for mass production. In particular, the Research Group is involved in the research fields of preform technologies and semi-finished product production. Particular attention is paid to the transfer of knowledge and technology from research to industrial application together with the Research Group founders and other industrial partners.

The Research Group is closely integrated into the Chair of Lightweight Structures and and Polymer Technology (SLK) and the Institute of Lightweight Structures (IST).
