Having received his PhD degree at Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), Payam spent 5 years as a researcher at University of Gothenburg, European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL, Germany) and University of Rovira I Virgili (Spain) advancing on high-throughput microbial screening and evolution techniques for industrially relevant phenotypes, especially the food sector. He also has 5 years of entrepreneurial experience in data-driven life sciences products.
