About me
Hamidreza Abedi is a researcher in the Computational Hydrodynamics Unit at RISE. He holds a Docent in Wind Power Technology (2023) and received his PhD in Thermo and Fluid Dynamics from Chalmers University of Technology (2016). His current research interests focus on the numerical modeling and analysis of onshore and offshore wind turbines, as well as wind farms. He has also been involved in several multidisciplinary projects aimed at improving the lifetime, performance, and reliability of wind turbines. Additionally, he serves as an affiliate researcher in the Div. of Fluid Dynamics, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at Chalmers, conducting research on wind power aerodynamics.
