My organisation

About me

Hua-Dong Yao has expertise in renewable energy and clean transport. He has been developing methods and tools for on-/offshore wind power, wave power, wind/hydrogen-powered propulsion systems, etc. His research group has been working on aero-/hydro-elasticity, wind-assisted propulsion, wave energy converters, hybrid wind-hydrogen ship propulsion, sailing, hubless rim-driven propellers, and Magnus anti-rolling for ships.
