Advanced Capsule Additives for Marine fuels
About
Use of additives is a cost-effective yet simple approach to achieve higher efficiency and reduce harmful emissions of IC engines without using additional stages or changing the structure of IC engines. Using the core technology - namely Electro-Hydrodynamic Atomization (EHDA) - of ReCover Ltd., we want to develop an effective technical solution for novel fuel additives specifically designed for use in marine engines. The proposed technology will employ encapsulating nano/micro-sized particles of strong oxidizers that can be added to the fuels, allowing for a more uniform combustion in the IC chamber; a condition that has been shown to increase engine efficiency and reduce emissions of pollutants
