IP, exploitation and regulatory support for CETPartnership and clean energy R&I projects

We support companies, utilities, technology providers, clusters and R&I organisations involved in the Clean Energy Transition Partnership and related clean energy funding schemes. Our goal is to help consortia build bankable projects, reduce IP and regulatory risks, and turn innovation into long-term competitive advantage.

ClarkeModet provides end-to-end support across the project lifecycle: IP and trade secret strategy, prior-art and patentability searches, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, and drafting and prosecution of patents, utility models, designs and software protection in key CETPartnership markets.

We also help coordinators and partners structure robust collaboration and exploitation frameworks: background/foreground IP management, access rights, data and software governance, consortium and licensing agreements, spin-off and joint-venture structures, and IP valuation for investment and commercial deals.

In addition, we offer regulatory and standards advisory (energy market rules, grid integration, permitting, CE/UKCA marking, cybersecurity/AI-by-design where relevant), ensuring that technologies can be deployed at scale. We are looking to work with industrial partners, technology developers, clusters and R&I coordinators preparing or implementing CETPartnership projects and connecting them with national and EU funding opportunities.
