Expertise in the design and implementation of integrated geophysical monitoring programmes for geological CO₂ storage sites, developed through participation in major European and international projects, including ALIGN-CCUS and ACTiON, as well as the Romanian GETICA CCS project.

The applied methods include 3D/4D seismic surveys, VSP, microseismic monitoring, electrical resistivity tomography, electromagnetic methods, gravity and microgravity measurements, Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR), geophysical well logging, and fibre-optic technologies. These methods support CO₂ plume tracking, caprock integrity assessment, and the early detection of potential migration or leakage pathways, from reservoir depth to the near-surface environment.
