Digital Twins and Advanced Modelling for Renewable Energy Technologies
About
NablaDot can act as a modelling, digitalisation and optimisation partner for the development and demonstration of advanced renewable-energy technologies. Its contribution would be particularly relevant for technologies whose performance depends on complex fluid, thermal or environmental phenomena, including wind energy, concentrated solar power and hybrid renewable plants.
The company can develop high-fidelity models for technology design and validation, as well as reduced-order models and digital twins for performance prediction, operational optimisation and maintenance.
Potential contributions include:
-
CFD modelling of wind resources and turbine environments.
-
High-resolution downscaling of local wind conditions.
-
Prediction of extreme wind conditions
-
Thermal and radiative modelling of CSP receivers and components.
-
Digital twins of renewable-energy assets.
-
Operational optimisation and predictive maintenance.
-
Integration of renewable generation with storage and hydrogen.
