Laser nanostructuring
Director of Research (Researcher A') at Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas

About
Lasers are used to texture surfaces (2D) or 3D materials at the nanometer scale. These surfaces may be used in water splitting and electrocatalysis in order to enhance the production of Hydrogen in water splitting devices. This method can be used to (i) understand fundamental mechanisms involving the catalytic performance and (ii) scale-up the procedure to increase the TRL and improve the water splitting performance of the devices.
