I am a Research Scientist at SINTEF. My background is in process engineering, and I hold a PhD in Process, Energy, and Automation Engineering from the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN).
My work focuses on data-driven modelling, machine learning, and digitalisation of industrial processes. I have experience in developing hybrid physics- and data-based models, digital twins, and advanced analytics workflows for industrial applications. My research includes high-frequency sensor data analysis, time-series modelling, anomaly detection, steady-state detection, and condition monitoring using sensors such as accelerometers and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS).
I have worked on applications related to CO₂ capture processes, industrial monitoring systems, railway infrastructure analytics, and multiphase flow systems. My interests include physics-informed machine learning, and the integration of AI methods into industrial decision-support systems.
Within SINTEF, I am also involved in coordinating digitalisation activities and cross-institute initiatives related to data-driven digitalisation, FAIR data management, and digital research infrastructure.
