Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck Conversion

This project enables existing OEMs that are behind in the hydrogen fuel cell sector to rapidly leverage HVS’ expertise and accelerate the development of their own fuel cell vehicles. The project will develop and validate the fuel cell integration architecture and support production under third-party OEM branding.

• HVS Role – Provide engineering design services and onboard key supply chain partners, including fuel cell, e-axle, battery, and thermal management suppliers.

• OEM Requirement – Supply a battery-electric truck for the project.

• Design Collaboration – OEM CAD design team to work directly with the HVS CAD design team on the redesign.

• Platform Redesign – In partnership with EDAG Germany, the battery-electric platform will be redesigned with a design-for-manufacturing strategy.

• Conversion & Testing – The redesigned platform will be converted and undergo comprehensive testing.

• Project Deliverable – A newly designed vehicle architecture and blueprints, with a roadmap to low-volume serial production.
