Aalto University is interested in joining proposals related to electrochemical energy conversion (H2, NH3, CO2, etc.) and storage (batteries) materials & technologies, concerning

Some specific research activities I can contribute to:
- Energy-dense and sustainable batteries (Li/Na ion and metal batteries, solid-state batteries, aqueous batteries, etc.) for electrochemical energy storage
- Electrochemical hydrogen technology, especially ammonia production
- Materials and interfacial engineering for enhancing the stability of electrochemical materials and devices
-Advanced and in-situ characterization (operando liquid cell TEM, cryo-TEM, cryo-FIB/SEM, operando X-ray spectroscopy and microscopy, etc.) for understanding materials and interfaces/interphases in electrochemical devices
- Degradation and failure of electrochemical energy devices
- Integration & Hybridization of energy technologies
