About

Hochschule Bremen (HSB) is a public university of applied sciences located in the heart of Bremen’s Neustadt district. Founded in 1982, it is one of the largest universities in the Bremen region with around 8,800 students. The university comprises five faculties: "Business", "Architecture - Construction and Environment", "Social Sciences", "Electrical Engineering and Computer Science", and "Natural Sciences and Engineering".

HSB offers about 70 practice-oriented Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, including dual study options and courses taught in English. It emphasizes internationalization, maintaining over 370 partnerships with universities worldwide, and offers opportunities such as study abroad semesters and double degree programs.

As a member of the UAS7 network, HSB is committed to fostering applied sciences education and participates in EU projects aimed at developing European university networks. The university is known for its close cooperation with regional industry, small study groups, innovative teaching methods, and a strong focus on practical experience.
