Business and Technology University (BTU) was founded on September 16, 2016. BTU is a leading higher education institution in Georgia, authorized by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement under the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Georgia. The university engages in high-quality academic and research activities, with a focus on technology and entrepreneurship-oriented education.

BTU offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in business administration, modern technologies, and artificial intelligence, which align with current trends and address both local and global needs. The university hosts a research center, a career development center, and several high-tech laboratories, including the Industry 4.0 Lab, iOS & Android Lab, AI Lab, Renewable Energy Sources Lab, Blockchain Lab, Cybersecurity Lab, Sustainability Lab, Microsoft Lab, and Martech Lab. In addition, an entrepreneurship center operates within the university, promoting the development of an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country.

BTU is a member of numerous international and local associations and organizations. Over 120 international institutional development projects have been implemented at BTU, benefiting more than 1,000 individuals annually across the country.
