About

AIN is a Private Technological Center, owned by 160 industrial and services companies from Navarre, North of Spain. Among these companies, Automotive, Agro food, Paper, Chemical, Metal Mechanics and ICT sectors are represented.

We are devoted to developing new technologies and provide innovative solutions to different market sectors, acting as an accelerator and facilitator driving companies in their digital transformation adopting I4.0 and circularity.

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES UNIT

 The Digital Technologies unit is a specialized unit that includes three lines of activity:

·        Condition monitoring for predictive maintenance for machinery failure prevention, mainly in rotating machinery. The acquired experience in the Integration of sensors and diverse techniques associated to signal processing, allows, also, other related projects improving manufacturing processes of several industrial sectors;

·        Automation, Monitoring, and Control deals with the development and implementation of sensor technologies and control systems.

·        Artificial Intelligence. Main research areas are:

 Advanced Manufacturing: Integration of AI in manufacturing to develop concepts of predictive quality, intelligent supply chain management, zero-defect manufacturing, integration of historical machinery into the connected factory, advanced quality control techniques, predictive maintenance.

Ongoing project: HORIZON-CL4-2022-TWIN-TRANSITION-01-03 — Excellence in distributed control and modular manufacturing (Made in Europe Partnership) (RIA). (2023-26)

Energy and sustainability: Development of predictive models for energy savings and optimization.

Innovative applications for science and society: Multidisciplinary developments to integrate AI technologies into other disciplines.
