About

CCG is a non-profit private entity that started its activity in 1993 and is currently located in Guimarães, at Campus de Azurém (University of Minho). CCG is an applied investigation and technological innovation Institute for digital economy, designing and prototyping new high-value processes, services, and products in fields of computer graphics, ubiquitous computing, human-machine interaction, and information engineering. CCGInstitute is formally recognized by the Portuguese Government as a Public-Interest R&I (Research and Innovation) organization, by the Portuguese Agency for Innovation as a Centre for Technology Innovation, and by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation as part of ALGORITMI Research Centre (first Research Centre formally recognized in Portugal in the ICT domain).

CCG is structured in four domains of applied research: Computer Vision Interaction and Graphics (CVIG), Engineering Process Maturity and Quality (EPMQ), Urban and Mobile Computing (UMC) and Human-technology Interaction and Robotics (HTIR).
