We are one of the largest and most experienced HPC and networking centres in Poland, with nearly five decades of work in advanced computing and data services for science, industry, and public administration. Our goal is to enable cutting-edge research and innovation by providing world-class infrastructure, expert support, and advanced technologies. Our main strengths are: High-Performance Computing (HPC): operation of national supercomputers (TOP500-ranked), large-scale data centres, and HPC infrastructures. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: training, fine-tuning, and optimising large models – including the first Polish-language LLMs (PLLuMa and Bielik). Data & Cloud: advanced data management, FAIR-compliant solutions, and cloud services supporting digital transformation. Quantum Computing: algorithms, hybrid workflows, and integration with HPC systems. Cybersecurity & Networking: secure architectures, 24/7 expert support, and fibre-optic MAN/PIONIER networks linked to Europe’s GÉANT backbone. We coordinate the national PLGrid consortium and the National HPC Competence Centre, and we are active in major European initiatives such as EuroHPC, EOSC, EGI,LUMI, and Digital Twins. Alongside research, we support SMEs and industry in applying advanced computing to areas such as medicine, automotive, logistics, drug discovery, spacem and satellite image analysis.
