** Mission, Vision and Values** The mission of the institute is one of scientific research activities (fundamental and applicative), of innovation in the field of processing of technologies, mechanization and automation technologies and equipments for agriculture and food industry, in the context of the harmonization of all political activities of ANCS and of the European Union: Development of diagnostics, forecasts and strategies in the field of technologies and technical equipment for agriculture and food industry. Research and use of processes, mechanization technologies and technical equipment for agriculture and food industry; Execution of experimental models and prototypes; Testing in laboratory conditions and operation of agricultural machinery and installations to manage agriculture and industry, in accordance with U.E procedures, rules and directives; Standardization in the field of technical equipment; Training activities, professional specialization and certification of personal guidance machining technologies; Testing equipment technique; Certification of conforming products; Performing inspection techniques for tractors, trucks, repairs and cars; Technological transfer and innovative business through the INMA-ITA accreditation technology incubator.

About me

**Since 1985 I have been working at INMA - National Institute of R-D for Machines and Installations designed to Agriculture and Food Industry, as a senior researcher in agro-industry and coordinator of the Informatics department (since 1994).
Since 1983, I have been involved in RDI, gaining a vast experience, as shown below:
-over 40 years (since 1983) in projects financed by European and national funds, as director of 19 projects, responsible for 4 projects and collaborator of 35 projects, from which over 19 years (2005-2023) in projects in smart agriculture, digitalisation and sustainability;
-6 years (2001-2006) - subprogram responsible of INVENT - National Program for Stimulation of Applying Inventions in 14 RDI fields: Aeronautics and Space; Architecture - Construction, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Energy, Physics, Geology, Mining, Oil and Gas, Food Industry and Biotechnologies, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine, Environment and Protection, Materials Science, Technology and Machine Building, Transport.
-Over 10 years (since 2014) in coordination/implementation of European projects (COSME, INTEREG EUROPE, INTEREG DANUBE, BSB, INTERREG IV C, IV A).

I also have experience in: performing analyses related to the needs in agriculture, in the rural environment, as well as of the IoT technologies, digitalisation, and sustainability; elaboration of common methodologies in the field of smart agriculture, acquired as a result of the collaborations realised within the projects.

I have coordinated the development of databases with entities in the field of smart agriculture for defining data requirements, collecting and validating information, applying approaches based on criteria and statistical tests; I prepared of reports specific to agricultural areas with recommendations on smart technologies and IoT for agriculture and organised national and international events in the field of smart agriculture.

I have good experience in organizing cross-border webinars and physical events (conferences, symposia, trainings with more than 10.000 participants in total) for raising awareness on the environment. I organized media and online campaigns to improve public awareness regarding the management and protection of the environment.

I was vice-president of the National R-D-I Ethic Council of the Ministry of Research (2012-2015).

In 2020-2023 I sustained "Software for mechatronics systems" courses within the Politehnica University of Bucharest.

Currently, I am acting as an expert for establishing the RDI Agenda (Digitalization, Industry, Space panel) for the next programming period within the context of elaborating the new National R-I Digitalization and Smart Specialization Strategy.

I am accommodated the EEN activity from 2015 to date (member of PROSME consortia), as a senior expert for advanced advisory and partnering services: advanced advisory services for business development and internationalization, including support to launch an offer and intake a request; organization of matchmakings (collaboration for organizing of 14 brokerage events/ company missions and to co-organizing of 29 ones); accompanying information and assistance on legal, sectorial matters related to internationalization and on partnering in EU calls (6 research/ business PAs); advances access to finance (collaboration to individual partnering support for 101 clients); basic services related to access to finance, business development and internationalization (collaboration to individual advisory support for 65 clients); cooperation with relevant local stakeholders (collaboration to 13 cooperation agreements).
With excellent communication skills, he has the ability to adapt to multicultural environments, an ability obtained as a result of collaboration with foreign experts in European projects and events, as well as of the activity within the Enterprise Europe Network.

He has the ability to undertake a thorough assessment of the client’s needs by applying the consortium’s internal tool, draw an action plan and follow it, provide relevant assistance services and cooperate with network partners / local stakeholders in the benefit of the clients. He is experienced as a speaker for short individual training sessions with one or a few clients, and under larger events.
